📝 Ingredients:

For the Stroganoff:

  • 500g beef sirloin or tenderloin (cut into thin strips)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 200g mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

For Serving:

  • Cooked egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice

1️⃣ Prepare the Beef:

  1. Season beef strips with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear beef strips for 1–2 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce:

  1. In the same pan, add onions and cook until softened.
  2. Add garlic and mushrooms, sauté until golden.
  3. Stir in beef broth, mustard, and paprika. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

3️⃣ Finish the Dish:

  1. Lower the heat, add sour cream, and stir well.
  2. Return beef to the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes until just heated through.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley.
